Case Study
Wattcraft worked with Riscon on helping a number of companies in the Burnley area with a programmatic approach to Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions. This comprised an initial two workshops to develop a bespoke Net Zero programme for the companies, with the further offer of delivery services.
The companies we gave workshops to included VEKA, Safran, Boohoo, Hycrome, ELE, Equestrian Surfaces and Melling Performance Springs. The initial work was supported with funding from Burnley College.
The key offerings were:
Impact Mapping Workshop
Facilitation of a full-day workshop to establish the organisation’s unique Net Zero vision. This included:
Development of a high-level roadmap for emissions reduction
Identification of outcomes, dependencies, and preliminary timelines
Laying the groundwork for actionable pathways tailored to business objectives.
Customised Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Profiling
Detailed analysis of the company’s activities to estimate baseline GHG emissions. Outputs included:
A high-level GHG emissions profile
Data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Waypoint Planning for Implementation
Follow-on workshop to establish practical implementation steps (“waypoints”) with:
Defined project priorities for initial action
Tools and methodologies to ensure long-term programme continuity
An achievable plan aligned with the company’s Net Zero objectives

Provision of end-to-end programme management, integrating changes into business as usual, including:
Coordination of multi-stage projects
